Gibralter

Last night we had a beautiful full moon off the coast of Portugal!! We arrived in Gibralter at 7 am! Off the ship about 7:45 am and walked in and through town....about an hour to the tram. The line was wayyyy toooo long so we walked in and through the Botanial Gardens. They were beautiful and no one was there. We noticed that a HUGE private yacht coming into dock right next to our ship!
We then walked back into town and had a frosty one at the "Angry Friar" right next to the Governor's mansion. Said mansion was guarded by an armed soldier!! Got to watch the changing of the guards...on video! Went back through town, did a little bit of shopping and arrived back at the ship at 11:30 am.
Took video of the 536 foot yacht Eclipse, crew of 70, finished cost of $1.12 BILLION!! It was beautiful and HUGE. Took video and pictures of it from our cabin on the 9th deck. Once I figure out how to download pictures and videos to the blog, will share. We had a great time in Gibralter and now 917 nautical miles to Palermo Italy.
We spent time at the pool and visited with some of our new friends from the East Coast. Yummy burgers and a complimentary neck and sholder massage! Tomorrow Dee and I are going for the bamboo deep tissue massage and manicures!!
Formal night tonight and a day at sea tomorrow. Food is good and they are taking care of me and my gluten sensitivity.
Chow and more soon.
Hugs,
Kim

Dang, so here we are on the ship headed from Vigo Spain to Gibralter. First time I have FIGURED OUT out to get on the blog space and had time and good sattelite reception to do so! We have had a great time learning thank you in every language. First in Amsterstam Danduvel, Belgium Danka, Spain Gracias!!! Trip over is long a hard as usual...no surprise there..... Great place to stay in Amsterdam at Bildenberg Garden Hotel; learned to ride the tram and low and behold found the "coffee shops" and great fun restaurants. LOOK KOUT FOR bicycles!! Geez, they will take you out in a heartbeat and not think about it !!!!!!! Piles of bikes everywhere, all straight up and very cheap....no worries about lose there!! Amazing architecture and "OLD" buildings!
Oh, by the way, the coffee in Amsterdam whether caffinated or non is so smooth it is amazing and yummy!!
Belgium found some cute shops and lots of horse drawn carriages.....videos to follw as well as photos when I learn how to attach and download them! Was told that De Halve has great beer in Belgium.!!
Vigo Spain was another incredible city and had a blast even on a Sunday when they are "closed"! We WALKED up to the top of the town and looked around...just in time for the tour buses to arrive!! What an incredible journey. Walked down and found a kool restaurant where they cook octaopus and serve outrageous seafood on the hill. OSHA would not allow this place to exist but what an experience and for the $$ amazing!!
More tomorrow and for now my friends......luv ya!! Kim and Charlie
